Cooking Instructions

  1. Prepared 2 litre of water, 500gms of meat (any kind) , 1 whole garlic and 1 packet of herbs.
  2. When water is boiled put in meat and ingredients.
  3. Simmer with medium heat for 1 ½ hours, add seasoning to taste.

Bah Kut Teh or Pork Bone Tea is a famous Malaysia Chinese soup dish. It has herbs such as Dong Quai, cinnamon, star anise, and loaded with pork ribs, dried mushrooms, and lots of garlic, this soup is full of amazing aroma. Bah Kut Teh requires several hours of slow simmering and the end result is just too good to be true. This is best cooked in a clay pot and eaten with white rice, fried dough, steamed vegetables such as vegetables in oyster sauce, spicy sauce and a plate of chilli and garlic.
